This is the DX-1 Fixed/ Portable Ham/Shortwave Antenna. This is the Most Portable Antenna that You dont have to have a tree,house,or some kind of structure. Come with Brackets to mount on a Pipe,Wood. It has a seperate mount , that is extra ,that holds the antenna vertical on any flat surface. Total Weight of the All band Vertical Antenna is 4.5 Lbs and is 20 ft tall when fully extended,and when not in use, is 48 " tall and the coil can be brought down to 4 Inches. The shipping Containter that I send it in can be used to carry the antenna mast, coil and coax(coax not included in auction). And you can store the complete antenns in the Container. This antenna is made to be used on all bands, with a antenna tuner and a good ground,. I have 2 of these antennas I use , one for when I want to go out in the bush and one that is attached on a 20 ft pipe on my Home.I use the one at the Home for SWL/Ham activity, Has lasted thru cold winters, high winds, hot weather. On person can put it together and won't take any room. Ths is perfect for field day, for areas that won't let you mount it on any structures like goverment locations, bases , construction sites on remote sites like what I have done, Adak, Shemya, Dutch Harbor, Where there are no TREES, and the Local Military bases wont let you attach anything to or on a building. By pass all that red tape.This is also good for the ham dx-remote sites. Can be put near the water, ocean, lake, or Top of a Moutain for dx-peditions. Small enough to carry in a 2 or 4 seat airplane with little weight. The antenna works great on field day and good for emergency locations for quick instulations.
